Will this be your new challenge? 

As (Financial) Controller you are responsible for the financial administration within the MEG and work with the finance team to realize our growth strategy. Furthermore, you interpret data and come up with (un)solicited advice for further optimization of our business operations. 

What will you do? 

  • You are responsible for the entire financial administration within the organization. In this you will be supported by several colleagues. 
  • You take care of the correct and complete processing of all financial mutations, much of which fortunately is already automated. 
  • You will play a role in the annual budgeting process. 
  • You take care of the periodic returns towards the tax authorities, CBS and other agencies. 
  • You will liaise with the auditor and provide all relevant information for the purpose of the financial statements. 
  • You will take care of the work required for insurance purposes and ensure timely and accurate remittance of payroll taxes. 
  • You ensure proper currency management to reduce exchange rate risk. 
  • You will participate in change/improvement projects within the organization and ensure that these changes are processed correctly in the administration. 

Who are we looking for? 

MEG is looking for someone who enjoys working in a young, commercial and dynamic work environment and wants to push boundaries together with his/her colleagues. As All-round (Financial) Controller you have a clear vision on finance and you excel in being in control of the financial administration. You have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role within an international trade or logistics company. In addition, the following are important: 

  • A completed college degree in financial administration, accounting, financial control. 
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Navision is a plus) and excellent command of Excel. 
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to finance and taxation. 
  • Knowledge of the international market regarding medical supplies is a plus. 
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
