Are you a commercially driven procurement professional with a passion for healthcare? Do you bring expertise in purchasing medical consumables, devices, or equipment and want to make a difference on a global scale?

Your Role: Strategic Buyer with a Global Reach

As a Buyer within our dynamic purchasing team, you’ll take full ownership of a product portfolio aligned with your expertise—medical consumables, devices, or equipment.
You will work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver real-world impact through smart sourcing and effective supplier partnerships.

Your key responsibilities include

• Sourcing internationally to secure quality products on the best commercial terms
• Building and optimizing a high-performing, future-proof product portfolio
• Conducting benchmarking and continuous market evaluations
• Keeping product dossiers and documentation fully up to date
• Advising internal teams on category trends and market intelligence
• Managing and negotiating strategic supplier relationships and contracts
• Monitoring and improving supplier performance
• Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, and quality assurance

What You Bring to the Team

• A relevant university degree or HBO-level qualification
• At least 5 years of procurement experience
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Preferably: in-depth product knowledge of medical devices or equipment
• A proactive and self-driven attitude; capable of working independently and in teams
• Open-minded, collaborative mindset; comfortable mentoring junior colleagues
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands and live in The Netherlands. (currently we are not able to provide sponsorships)
